Phillip William

Price just reduced to C$184,000.

Someone is going to get an immaculate boat at a bargain price!

Is this the blue water live-aboard you have been dreaming of?

Phillip William has only had two owners since she was launched in 1996, both of whom have lived aboard for extended periods. A Brandlmayr design she features a raised galley with a 360 degree view, a large salon area for entertaining and two sleeping cabins forward. Her condition is really remarkable and her looks attract attention wherever she goes. Thoughtful design and upgrading has been done with ease of access and simplicity in mind, which in turn has enabled her upkeep to be first class.

Her teak decks are flawless, aided in part by her full winter cover, and inside the light floods in to showcase quality and condition that is evident everywhere you look. A very comfortable living space that could take you anywhere you wish.

Some of the advantages of Schooners over cutters and sloops

  • Three sails of roughly equal size sails will be smaller and easier to handle.
  • Low bridge clearance. A schooner’s sails are spread out horizontally.
  • Flexible sail plan, There are many ways to reduce sail area.
  • Easier to balance the helm
  • A schooner can carry a larger area of sail with less heel because of the low center of effort.
  • A schooner can’t point as high as a sloop but on any other point of sail it excels.
  • With two masts and three/four large sails it is more likely you will be able to continue sailing with the damage or loss of a component of the rigging.
  • Schooners look great.
