Calibre Yacht Sales Offers Industry’s First Referral Reward Program

Vancouver, BC – August 27th, 2010 – Calibre Yacht Sales, based in Mosquito Creek Marina, North Vancouver, announced today that it will be locating its first branch office at 39 Wharf Street in Nanaimo, BC, beginning September 1st , 2010. The Nanaimo Office will be manned by Rick Meredith and Frank Fitton and supported by Vicki Fitton, all who are local to Nanaimo.

Founded and led by Richard Evans, who has been selling boats since 2002, Calibre Yacht Sales will offer Nanaimo a full service strategy -- specializing in pre-owned sailing boats and motor yachts, as well as new construction boats – designed to match each client’s individual boating needs with the appropriate vessel. Evans said he is using “best practices” of businesses outside of the boat brokerage business adapted to apply to Calibre Yacht Sales, in an effort to exceed what clients would expect from a boat broker.

“We wanted to take a fresh approach to the boat brokerage business. Calibre’s ambition is to not just sell boats, but to develop life-long relationships with our clients by adding continual value to their boating experiences,” Evans said. “We’re focused on matching each client with the unique boat that meets their needs, not limiting ourselves to any one particular model or brand, as well as providing technical expertise, advice and on-going support long after the purchase of a boat.”

Unique Program to Reward Referrals
Recognizing the importance of “word-of-mouth” as a factor in buying and selling boats, Calibre Yacht Sales has developed an industry first Referral Rewards Program that provides incentives to individuals who refer buyers and sellers to Calibre Yachts that result in final sales. The program provides an incentive of 10% of Calibre’s gross commissions on the referred sale.
